GrowthX, an 8-week online product growth bootcamp based in India, has been a transformative learning experience for me as a product designer. Throughout the bootcamp, I delved into the frameworks that drive compounding results in product and growth. The initial five weeks comprised engaging live sessions, insightful case studies, and self-paced concept videos featuring renowned tech startups like AirBnB, Tesla, Tinder, and QuickBooks.
I gained valuable knowledge in engagement and retention strategies, churn reduction, user monetization, and pricing strategy design. Moreover, I gained exposure to building growth processes, defining experimentation frameworks, and fostering a culture of growth within a team.
The crowning three weeks of the bootcamp were dedicated to the capstone project, where my cohort and I collaborated to craft and pitch a tech product growth strategy for Hotjar. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply the concepts I learned and further sharpen my skills.
The course's core focus on developing the growth mindset is highly recommended for professionals working with scalable tech products, such as product managers, marketers, and entrepreneurs. As a T-shaped designer, I believe in the continuous process of learning, and GrowthX provided me with a deeper understanding and a fresh perspective on the product journey. It significantly broadened my knowledge in product design, equipping me with the tools to excel in my field.
